Natalia Osipova is ready to bring the Vatican to life as Mary Magdalene at the Metropolitan Opera with Maria Ewing directing.
Her operatic career began at the age of ten. Natalia has danced with the Mariinsky Ballet and has acted and toured with top ballet companies throughout Europe. Osipova then landed a role with the Kirov Ballet, where she was discovered by Russian choreographer Alexei Ratmansky. Natalia also became the first ever ballerina to direct and choreograph her own ballet with the Mariinsky Company. In 2016, Natalia was appointed artistic director of the Neiga opera. She directed 22 opera productions in 2017.
